  • Retro 60s Vintage Vacuum Tube LED Night Light with Simulated Amber Heater Glow
Custom painted to look as if it came from the 60’s. Vacuum tube has knurled chrome finish which completes the retro look of this night lights. Only a few available as I don’t have many tubes like this.
Vacuum tube valve heater glows like it is sitting in the chassis of a tube guitar amplifier, radio or TV.
These are not meant to fully light up a dark space like a typical night light light would!
Simulated heater glow turns on as front mounted sensor detects darkness. Light will dim or turn off when room lights are on (depending on brightness of room).
Heater glow is simulated by an
    LED
    and is
    COOL TO THE TOUCH
! Uses very low energy due to efficient LED Design.
Tube never needs to be replaced because heater glow is simulated by an LED.
Unique conversation piece for any fan of vintage vacuum tubes.
Handmade by myself using tubes found in vintage audio equipment.
Similar in size and shape to a 12AX7 9 pin preamp tube. You will receive a similar looking night light.
Due to the nature of vintage vacuum tubes, some glass tubes may have darker glass than others which will make some appear slightly darker. The top of each tube has a chrome like coating called getter flash. Some may have a symmetrical coating, some may not be symmetrical and some may have darkened over time and not appear as chrome. This is normal!
Note: If maximum brightness from a night light is needed, we recommend getting the white version. The darker the color, the less bright these will be!
Second to last photo shows heater glow from a Marshall DSL15 tube amp compared to an amber tube night light. Night light is meant to simulate the look of a glowing tube heater and will not be bright enough to fully illuminate a room.
Last photo shows a retro 1960’s version vintage refrigerator in turquoise (as reference).
    Handmade in the USA!
